11.1 Deadline for Dow Jones Summer'08 Editing Internship

Each year the Dow Jones Newspaper Fund, Inc. conducts an intensive nationwide search for bright, literate students for their intensive pre-internship training which aims to bring students into newsrooms primed for success. Training is conducted on college campuses—including here at UT! Each program offers $1,000 scholarships to those returning to school full-time after their internships.

Newspapers participating in the summer internships agree to pay a minimum of $350 a week in regular wages and provide meaningful work.
