Andrew Clay

Andrew (Andy) Clay is a nearly three-decade veteran of daily newspapers in Mississippi, Florida, Virginia and Texas who is making the transition to education. As a first-year teacher, he is responsible for classes in journalism, photography and broadcast. He is the adviser for the Eagle Eye newspaper and Talon yearbook at Crowley (Texas) High School. Clay earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a big sports fan who loves to play disc golf and is a past president of a volunteer dads group called the Sugar Daddies that raises money for his two children's elementary school.
