Alex Gonzalez

Alex Gonzalez is the journalism teacher at Eastside Memorial High School at the Johnston Center in Austin, and he advises The Eastside View newspaper and the yearbook. Next year, Gonzalez plans to expand the journalism program to include weekly broadcasts and a weekly online paper. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of North Texas. He enjoys reading nonfiction, watching the British Broadcasting Corporation, running and cycling.
