
Timothy Rodman
Tim Rodman is a first-year educator teaching social studies, AVID and journalism teacher at John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring, Md. He is also the adviser for Legacy, the school yearbook, and will also serve as the adviser for The New Frontier, the school newspaper, in the fall. Before switching careers, Rodman worked in the corporate finance and marketing world for 13 years. He went back to school in 2007 to earn his master’s degree in education in curriculum and instruction, from the University of Maryland. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications and government from Evangel University. While at Evangel University, he served as a newspaper reporter for The Lance, as news director and later station manager for KECC-FM, and as evening news anchor for cable-based Newswatch 18. His interests include photography and raising beef cattle, goats and sheep on his small farm in western Maryland.
