Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez is a teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School in Los Angeles where she teaches English and journalism. She has been teaching journalism for one year and is the adviser to the student newspaper, The Hitching Post. Martinez earned her bachelor’s degree in English and her master’s degree in education at the University of California, Los Angeles. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and going to museums. She also enjoys anything Bruin, but especially UCLA basketball. Likewise, she is an avid fan of the Lakers. Martinez enjoys working out.
