Cynthia Roberson

Cynthia L. Roberson, an English and journalism teacher at Yorktown (Texas) High School, spent 10 years as a news editor and five years as a managing editor of the Jackson County (Texas) Herald-Tribune before becoming an educator. After earning a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Houston, she earned her secondary education teaching certificate in English in 2006. She advises the quarterly Wildcat Record. Roberson has also been a field photography trainer and a development director at a private Catholic school. She is very active in her local community events and her church. In her spare time, she is an events’ photographer.
