Celeste Zachry

Celeste R. Zachry is a 13-year veteran teacher of English and Spanish, currently teaching Spanish and in her first year of journalism at Joshua (Texas) High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Tarleton State University and has been teaching across the United States while her husband proudly served in the Army. Choosing to raise their two young daughters in Joshua, Zachry is the newest addition to the foreign language department as well as The Owl Flight newspaper adviser at JHS; she is also the UIL Journalism coach for all four writing events. In the rare moments of spare time, Zachry loves to spend time cooking with her two daughters, shopping, scrapbook, and doing embroidery.
