Mary Ellen Mark is one of the leading documentary photographers working today and has been in the forefront of the profession for four decades. Her work has appeared in over one hundred books, fifteen of which she authored herself. She has been awarded virtually every honor that can be bestowed upon a photographer, including the International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award, three National Endowment of the Arts Grants, a World Press Photo Award in the Arts, a Guggenheim Fellowship, as well as five honorary doctorates from different universities.
Martin Bell is a documentary filmmaker whose titles include the Academy Award nominated "Streetwise," which follows the lives of runaway kids on the streets of Seattle, and "The Amazing Plastic Lady," which is set in the Indian Circus. He has directed narrative feature films including "American Heart" starting Jeff Bridges.
