Nancy Guiles serves as technical staff assistant in the photojournalism sequence of the School of Journalism. Her duties include checking out equipment, administering the photo labs and being sure that equipment and supplies are available. She has worked in the department since 1991.

Prior to working with the School of Journalism, she worked in photography for the College of Business Administration and for the Humanities Research Center. She was also employed as a photojournalist by the San Antonio Express-News. She received a B.S. in radio-television-film (film production) from the University of Texas at Austin.
