Masters students must complete a semester internship under a faculty supervisor as J389E Professional Experience in Journalism. Students must complete the signature form (faculty supervisor, internship supervisor, graduate advisor), obtain a letter from the internship supervisor stating the terms of the internship for credit, and submit samples of work and a one-page narrative describing the work experienced that semester. Students and faculty supervisors will meet periodically during the semester to discuss the internship. The faculty supervisor will review the submitted work and one-page narrative for a grade at the completion of the semester.
