Statesman Selects Seven Journalism Students for Internship

Seven UT journalism majors will work at the Austin American-Statesman this spring, as part of the J331 for-credit internship.

Cate Smithson will work on the features desk. Curt Youngblood will be a photographer. Sara Higgins goes to the business desk and Michael Sherfield to sports. Jimmie Collins and Katie Petroski will work on the metro desk while Joanne Liou will work on the news copy desk.
