KUT 90.5 FM Seeks Interns
KUT is looking for smart, accomplished students who want to work hard as journalists in training. Experience in news writing and/or audio production is a plus. The position is unpaid, but class credit is available. Applicants should be in their 3rd or 4th year, or graduate students.
Duties include writing copy for air, contributing story ideas to editorial meetings, maintaining news clippings and recording audio. Morning interns can record and edit the Morning Newspod, a podcast that contains stories produced b KUT that’s downloaded by subscribers around the city. Interns will lean the ins and outs of a radio newsroom, and have the opportunity to produce spots for broadcast.
