James Jeffrey, a second-year professional track graduate student in the Journalism School recently received a 2012 Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholarship. He was one of 14 winners selected from nearly 200 applicants. The Overseas Press Club Foundation is a charitable organization affiliated with the Overseas Press Club, which was founded in New York City in 1939 by a group of foreign correspondents to improve the profession of international journalism.
