Originally from Washington State, Molly Walsh is working toward a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Media—Professional Track—from The University of Texas at Austin. Molly Walsh earned her undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College, in Olympia Washington. At Evergreen, Molly studied photography, ceramics and the performing arts. After earning her undergraduate degree, Molly served as a photo intern and assistant before becoming a freelance reporter and photographer. As a freelancer, Molly has covered art, culture and human-interest stories for several publications across the South Puget Sound region in Washington State, including OLY ARTS Magazine, the Shelton-Mason County Journal and ThurstonTalk.com. As graduate student, Molly plans to solidify her skills in reporting and photojournalism while also exploring longform methods of storytelling.
