Ashley Insong

Ashley Insong was born and raised in Hawaii, where her love of storytelling first took root. She has interned with Hawaii Home + Remodelingmagazine and Character Media, the oldest and only publication dedicated to covering Asian Americans in entertainment. Her writing has appeared in Flux Hawaii, an Emmy Award-winning magazine, as well as in Memphis Magazine and the Memphis Flyer.

Ashley hopes to become an editor of an arts and culture magazine, where she can amplify underrepresented voices in minority communities, with a particular focus on the AANHPI community.
