Destiny Lewis is a Professional Track M.A. student in Journalism and Media. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, she earned her B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Mass Media and a minor in Marketing from Prairie View A&M University.
While at PVAMU, Destiny worked with the university’s football team as a content creator and film intern. She captured game-day moments through sports photography, filmed practices and games, and helped manage visual content for the program’s digital platforms. Her work reflected a strong understanding of storytelling, branding, and audience engagement—skills she continues to develop through creative projects and freelance opportunities.
Destiny is passionate about multimedia storytelling, with interests that span sports media, brand strategy, and visual content creation. She plans to pursue a career in digital media, creative direction, or sports marketing, and looks forward to expanding her skills in photography, writing, and design while completing the Professional Track program at UT.
