Ella Grady is a first-year Pro Track Journalism & Media graduate student from Paxton, Massachusetts. She graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital and Strategic Communication, double concentrating in Public Relations and Digital Media, and earned a Social Media Certificate.
Ella spent two summers with the Futures League's Worcester Bravehearts, working in both the media and in-game promotions departments. At Xavier, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Musketeer Gear, a student-run nonprofit supporting student-athletes through NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opportunities, from her freshman through junior years. During her senior year, she worked as a staff writer for The Xavier Newswire, covering sports and campus features.
Most recently, Ella completed both an internship and a post-graduate fellowship with Wordsworth Communications, a women-owned public relations agency in Cincinnati serving clients across both B2B and B2C industries.
While in Austin, Ella looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the media and journalism industries, developing her reporting and storytelling skills, and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic media environment.
