Gabrielle Caumon is a master’s student in Journalism and Media at UT Austin. She earned her BFA in Theatre from St. Edward’s University, where she discovered the power of storytelling and journalism. There, she joined the student-led newspaper Hilltop Views, where she ultimately served as Life and Arts Editor, covering social, cultural and political topics.
Originally from Paris, Caumon envisions reporting from the U.S. to France-based outlets, eliciting community perspectives on relevant issues and successes. At UT, she aims to broaden her journalism skills by exploring areas such as investigative and broadcast journalism.
