Vikram Sundaram is a graduate student pursuing his M.A. in Journalism and Media.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree from UT Austin in 2019, and subsequently started his career working in a pandemic-hindered Semiconductor Industry at Texas Instruments. At TI, his marketing and engineering work was regularly featured on the company's official website and trade journals like EE Times.
He then shifted to a role in corporate strategy and intrapreneurship at Deloitte, where he helped firm leaders define their strategy while deploying advanced research tools to thousands of users.
As a graduate student, he is eager to reinforce his creative, business, and technological expertise with investigative and storytelling skills in an age of overt digital dependence. In doing so, he plans to spend his second stint at the University of Texas at Austin demystifying the social and economic implications of business, technology, and digital culture through long-form writing and documentary filmmaking.
Originally raised in Austin, he spends his time outside of his academic endeavors as a singer-songwriter and guitarist of 20+ years.
