Max Mazoch is a master’s student in the School of Journalism and Media. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, his undergraduate and professional work has been dedicated to promoting sustainability within his home state.
Prior to attending the University of Texas, Max earned a BA in Environmental Studies from Southwestern University, where much of his work centered around environmental justice. Max also held communications roles with nonprofits, including the Coastal Prairie Conservancy and the Hill Country Conservancy, where he used storytelling to connect Texans to local environmental efforts.
