Natalia Rodriguez is a master's student in the School of Journalism and Media. She pursued her bachelor's degree in mass communication in Edinburg, TX at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she graduated with honors. Born and raised in The Rio Grande Valley, Natalia has a deep rooted connection to her Hispanic Culture, which has been a primary source of inspiration to her writing. Natalia's work aligns with her keen passion in politics and social issues, which she uses as a tool to amplify stories and communities that she feels are often neglected. She additionally expresses interest in covering music, sports, and film, but plans to make political journalism her specialty.
