Ahona Tasnuva is a Journalism & Media Theory and Research student from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Alongside her Bachelor's she has worked full-time as a multimedia reporter in one of the top English Daily newspapers (The Business Standard) in Bangladesh. She was also a fellow at the Local Media Hub of Deutsche Welle (DW) for two years. She has worked in the peace and security sector as a researcher for about a year and a half. If asked about her research interest, she would reply with Social Media, Disinformation, Politics, User Interaction, AI and Digital Media Landscape. Her work with the US Embassy on taking and organising workshops on Disinformation sparked her interest in the field. She has also done freelance journalism with international media hubs such as NPR and BBC.
