Candace Misko is the Administrative Manager for the School of Journalism and Media, after three years at the Department of Accounting in the McCombs School of Business. Before relocating to Austin, she worked at Arizona State University in the Purchasing Office and College of Liberal Arts Dean’s office. She provided campus ProCard support with the Purchasing Office and provided financial administrative support for the Dean’s Office. She has a BA in Business from University of Kansas and a Masters of Education from Arizona State University.
Angie Martinez oversees the academic and financial aspects of the School of Journalism and Media. She is responsible for CIS requests, exam scheduling, textbook orders, and event organization, along with purchasing, payments, travel, and reimbursements. Prior to joining the School of Journalism and Media, Angie was an administrative assistant for the College of Liberal Arts, Centralized Business Services. After graduating from UT with a BA in Biology, she was a lab assistant working with fire ants and zebrafish. In her spare time, Angie likes to make costumes and props inspired by film, television, and pop culture.

Senior Academic Program Coordinator
Chelsea Stockton provides academic services, advising and support to all prospective and currently enrolled graduate students in the School of Journalism and Media. She was previously Graduate Studies Coordinator with the Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University. She has a background in graphic design and was a copy editor in Harlingen after earning a bachelor’s degree with majors in Journalism and English from Texas State. She later returned to her alma mater and obtained a Master of Arts in Literature.
