Master’s Programs
Our MA Professional Track degree focuses on preparing people who want to create media, our Research & Theory MA students can gain additional methodological expertise alongside knowledge of journalism and theory, which can help them to move toward doctoral degrees or a variety of analytic careers with media organizations.
MA Professional Track
If you want to pursue or advance your career in media creation, this is the program to help get you there. This track is geared toward students who are coming to Journalism from another field of study or for additional professional experience.
MA Research & Theory
If you want to gain additional methodological expertise alongside knowledge of journalism and theory, this track can help move toward doctoral degrees or a variety of analytical careers with media organizations.
MA Dual Degree Programs
Dual degree programs are structured so that a student can pursue graduate work in two fields and fulfill the requirements of two degrees. When completed they will be awarded two MA degrees simultaneously.
Graduate Admissions
Admission to our program is competitive and we welcome all prospective students to explore our requirements below.
Deadline for Fall applications is December 1st of each year. We do not admit for Spring terms.
